When the Wollstone Type-III deep space craft Prometheus-Epsilon, returning from the successful fifth manned mission to Mars, comes upon a frozen ghost ship that turns out to be an earlier failed mission to the red planet, they decide to use current cryogenic techniques to try and revive the frozen crew of the Wollstone Type-I deep space craft Prometheus-Alpha. Although they are successful at bringing the entire Alpha crew back to life, the Epsilon crew soon discovers that the "human" part of the Alpha's crew is missing. Only by refreezing the undead astronauts can any of the Epsilon's crew hope to survive.
